Why are there so many M pretending to be MF on here?

Getting frustrated now that every time a potential meet crops up it's suddenly only the male who I'll be seeing! What gives? Anybody else suffering the same?

Yep you get them messaging us ladies too pretending to be female, but guys put messages across very differently to women so easy to suss them out haha

To get around the filters. I've had a few messages from couples accounts saying I can meet the man alone. One was the female saying she lets her husband meet alone,after I said I don't meet couples.

Trouble is, it often doesn't!

To be fair, I do get some out of the blue messages from single (or even married) guys chancing their arm but they're invariably polite and leave me alone when I tell them I'm not interested.

The best one we get is im married but the wife doesnt mind if i play alone oh really well stick her on phone or web cam they usually block us after that

The guys who do this are desperate and very sad.

I don't have much success on here but would never stoop to such measures.

Apart from anything else it is insulting to the intelligence of the members they are trying to fool.

It's possible they are a couple and he is the one that wants to do the vetting. For us, if both of us can't make a meet due to kids then just Julia has gone as it's her that needs to click with a guy. For meets with couples or females we'll make certain we can both be there.

OP why not just look for couples where there is a recent veri confirming both exist?

There are enough couples profiles on site with sufficient 'evidence' that both exist, meet and are real - focus on them.

On average there are 20,000+ profiles online per day.

Should they set up face to face interviews with all new/existing members?

Or should they leave it to the common sense of people to ensure those they are planning to meet are who they claim?

Show me a foolproof system and I'll show how it can be gotten around.

For me it's very easy to tell a fake profile from a real one.

Just be careful and read all of the text and look at the pictures, anything that you sense isn't right probably won't be right.

Best to trust your own judgement and you should be fine on here.

You can usually spot a single guy on a couple profile... All the pics are selfies or taken in a mirror... If the parent was aware wouldn't she take some of the pictures? ... Just a thought!

I understand that the M pretending to be a MF happens all the time and I have been warned to be careful. Ask for a picture of the woman and check the "couple" have been verified by others.

Haha....indeed...smart phone spell check is sometime "dumb phone"!!
