A film that really needs to be seen on the big screen

By way of balance, I know 3 people who saw it and they all thought it was awful and one actually fell asleep.

Yet another lazy remake that just wasn't needed. Come on studios. Get off your asses and give us new stuff.

Have you actually seen the film? 'Lazy remake' is such an inaccurate description that it boggles the mind.

I will always prefer the originals but I loved it! (Well, except for Tom Hardy...he just doesn't feel right as Mad Max to me...).

At times I felt like I was being bombarded with action and almost felt like I was having a seizure, but it was still good.

LOVED Nicholas Hoult in it (aka: Nux).

I saw it opening week.

Overall good film. Great update on the originals and fantastic special effects. 3rd act was a little weak and Tom Hardy was OK but not spectacular as Max. Overall nice to see what George Miller can do when given a big budget. Nice that they limited the CGI and went with real cars gave the action much more weight. 8/10 from me and will def get on blue ray.

Loved the old ones, loved this....

Reminded me of reading 2000 AD as a kid....

Madcap, weird, mental, deranged characters....

Like judge dredd, we don't care about max, it's about pushing the weirdness factor in the fallout infected homicidal maniac who populate the near future...

And the war machines that are cobbled together from the junk left behind by the dead....

Bring on the end of the world!

Couldn't have put it better myself.

All it needed was the strontium dog and the abc warriors. Lol

Saw it Saturday. A full on barrage of action.

Don't expect amazing dialogue or fluffy Disneyfied nonsense.

This is full on take no prisoners, we don't care if you understand what's being said or going on.

Just watch some good old fashioned crazy car chases and stunts.

The car builders must have had an orgasm making some of the wacky vehicles.

Hardy was a overshadowed by theron.

But still a cracking film.

The guy playing the electric guitar was just crazy mad.

All it needed was the Lord humungus and a crazy nutjob with a boomerang made into a weapon and it would have been perfect.

Certainly wasn't a remake.

Maybe won't be classed as a cult film like the original but still a highly entertaining film
