A silly question or 2 maybe, but here goes. Ive won First Class Rail Travel to London Paddington with First Great Western-1. Is there a dress code or are summer clothing etc ok? 2. What exactly do you get complimentary to eat and/or drink? Thanks in advance.

Sunderland

We've had first class train travel from Newcastle to London. Dress however you feel comfortable in. Tea, coffee and a hot meal were free. Loads of leg room and big comfy seats. Enjoy it'll be fun.

Titz Towers, North Notts

I suggest a top hat and walking cane

I love First Class, especially if I can nab one of those single seats which means I don't have to sit next to anyone.

Generally it's hot food and alcohol in the week, weekend tends to be sandwiches and snacks and soft drinks.

First class is great, wear whatever you want really, majority of the blokes are suited but it's because most go to/come from work.

Loads of complimentary stuff like snacks, drinks and a newspaper.

There's also two or three usb ports next to every seat which is really practical.

Thanks for your replies. Is it just the one lot of complimentary bits we can have? (I dont want to appear rude if I make a re-appearance for a cuppa and its not allowed)

Travelled to London & back first class recently and it's great. Had a full breakfast going down, tea, coffee on tap and so much more room.

Wear what you want, there's a mixture of business people, families and people just travelling in there own
