Splendiferous film scenes

Titz Towers, North Notts

I'm sat watching the final shootout in the Good the Bad and the Ugly and between the music, the camera leaping from the protagonist's eyes to their hands creeping towards their guns, it is a cracking scene and one that really grips.

What scenes in films does everyone else find splendiferous?

Funny question that... I've literally just put American Werewolf In London on, I think the transformation scene is one of the most brilliant scenes ever.

The Polish pilots in the Battle of Britain film when they see the Luftwaffe is another one.

" Repeat please" one by one as they all peel off to engage as the plummy Brit eventually has to follow them in

That film is brilliant but I find it hard to watch as they make it seem so real.

An old classic - Steve McQueen in his motorbike trying to jump the barbed wire fence in The Great Escape.

Shawshank Redemption - when they show how he escaped from his cell.

It's very late and I know loads but none but one are coming to mind.

The T-Rex escape scene is masterful, even today to this day I feel the same as watching it as a kid.
