At the moment, Mrs J a having all the success when it comes to making contact with males and getting meets, she seems to think that cause we're a couples profile, women or other couples don't want to just meet the male, she's suggested I create my own single male profile, and believes I will be more successful, personally I don't think it will make any difference, What are your thoughts on this?

My BF and I have yet to meet anyone from our couples profile on here specifically although we have met together off site. Both of us meet singly and have far more interest and fab meets on our respective solo profiles.

Maybe it's the way to go then

We like meeting separately as well as together so it works for us. As a couple it's more about our existing network of friends and the occasional club visit.

If we are approached by one half of a couple from a couple's profile to play alone it's an instant block

Seperate profiles is my advice

Because often it is not actually a couple but a single bloke trying to by-pass filters. And even if it isn't we aren't taking the risk of being lied to.

Many will feel the same - even if that's not the case.

Try a solo profile for a while and make mention of your couples one so folk can cross-check.

What have you got to lose?

Good luck!

A

Single male profiles are fabulous if your ambition is to be ignored by most people on here.

Well the experiment has been an epic failure, ok, it's only been 3 weeks, but I do feel like my cloaking device is switched on, messages are ignored or deleted, guess I might as well accept the fact that Mrs J will be the only one having any fun on this site

Go for it mate, if I can get meets at my age you shouldn't have any problem. I made up my own profile as we do well on our couples profile but I felt I was just Mr Kim & in doing my own profile it also gave me an identity.

Of course its going to be an epic fail, jesus anyone could have told you that

A women is going to get meets, single or otherwise, even if she looks like a dogs arse. But no woman wants to meet the male half of a couple on his own, she'd prob rather meet the 2 of ye together if anything at all

Youd be better off just creating a single male profile and not mentioning youre part of a couple, or else just give it up and stick at it as a couple

Do it but maybe visit a few clubs on your own and mingle get a network of singles or couples then the meets will go from there. Its hard to meet people as a single guy on fabs even harder for me as an open bi guy. most people don't even read the message might be easier to lie about it but that challenge makes the success more rewarding.

As you say, it's only been 3 weeks. It took me 7 months to get my first meet, so patience is key here. Maybe make a reference to your singles profile on the couples one you are using now

Be patient, three weeks is nothing.

I also won't talk to one half of a couple on a couples profile.

Well I decided to delete the profile, couldn't be bothered with it, messaged so many women and other couples and was getting nothing back, although the single males where taking a lot of interest in me
