Has anyone ever removed all filters (just out of curiosity and not for a forum post). If so what was the response?

I don't have many filters but have my looking for turned off so I don't appear in any local updates. I turned it on on Tuesday and lasted less than 24 hours. It was an interesting experiment but I got far too many messages to comfortably deal with and got way more fabs and winks than normal. I even made the top fabbed pages, which is a rarity. But it did result in bringing a few people I might be interested in at a later date to my attention so I may do it occasionally in future.

Out of curiosity I've lifted all filters and age range. Be interesting to see who, if anyone, mails and what they offer! This is just for today!

It is also not an oooh look at me thread as I'm comfortable in my own skin and confident with it!

I remove filters randomly, just to see what messages I get. Usually it's the same old fancy a fuck brigade filling my inbox so they very quickly get put back in place

I very very rarely use mail filters. Unticking the 'looking for' boxes is the best filter ever.

I only occasionally set filters when I add a new pic to stop a ton of mail. I'm not meeting currently so it's pointless people sending me messages but I don't have them set all the time as I get mails re forum posts and things sometimes and don't want to prevent that.

We only have single men blocked. Removing said blockage would not enhance our fab experience, just for the possibility of actually receiving a few messages.....besides, i think angel would faint if she saw a well thought out and written message in our box

I am always happy to receive messages from anyone who fancies getting in touch. If a woman or couple isn't for me then a polite 'thanks but no thanks' type of reply takes no effort. At the end of the day all and any attention is flattering even if the attraction isn't mutual. Occasionally I also receive polite messages from guys asking for advice on something. I have no problem with answering those either. I do of course realize that as a guy on here, the volume of messages I receive is tiny in comparison to women or couples, especially if they don't employ filters.

I've got most of my filters off at the moment because of the big party that's happening soon. However my bullshit filter is firmly in place so the crap that the filters would usually capture is just ignored. If it wasn't for filters I would of left along time ago.

I just have the newbies and no photos filters on. Cuts down roughly 75% of my messages and works just fine for me.

If I took those off, I'd leave the mailbox for an hour and come back to a load of messages from men who had already gone UNLOS by the time I read it.
