When you are looking to meet someone or people

Do you both check diaries and commitments and see when there is a gap (like most of us do i assume)

Or would you cancel plans for a chance of a social/meet just incase you never get the option again

Personally i like to converse with the people and set a date thats ok for us both and i would not expect other commitments to be cancelled as i find that bad manners and etiquette

if someone is worth meeting i would wait or the people would wait for a convenient time

Thoughts x

A few years ago I would rush things and change plans. Now, not do much as I can take it or leave it.

We have never cancelled a prior engagement for a meet.

We will check our diaries and give an option of two or three dates to work with.

When I meet it is often after a lengthy time of chatting and and if course when we're both free.

We have a sitter 2 or 3 nights a week so we can go out . Sometimes a meal out or vanilla friends , but more often than not we go out to play .

We would never cancel anything for a meet , no matter how tempting it may be .

We don't chat with prospective meets much .

It's all about the actual meeting for us

Same as you op, I'm pretty flexible so tend to ask people what suits them.

But I'd never cancel plans or expect them too.
