Studies Says People Who Constantly Post Gym Selfies May Actually Have A Psychological Problem.

The study conducted by researchers at Brunel University found that individuals who consistently post about their fitness tend to be fuelled by narcissism. So, basically, somebody who is overly self-involved and fishing for compliments.

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I have wondered about the whole selfie thing being so easy and now so ubiquitous creating a generation of narcissists.

Completely agree. Im aware of the gym scene and my FB page is filled on a daily basis with narcissistic topless gym selfies (guys only unfortunately). I was at Bodypower (a fitness convention) and all the "gym braaah's" were walking round either topless or in a tiny stringer vest - much like what Shag wears on a night out

What's narcissistic about being proud of something you've worked hard on?

"What's narcissistic about being proud of something you've worked hard on?"

It becomes narcissistic when you want everyone to feel proud of your work too and tell them that with a daily round of here are my guns/pecs/six pack new pictures.
