Problems with being youthful on FAB

Why is age discriminated against so much on FAB. Surely enjoying sex and experimentation doesn't require you to be a certain age.(obviously a legal age). Any views?

Eh? What do you mean by discrimination? I just see it as being attracted to someone. I, for example, have my age filters set to 25-40, but that's because I'm attracted to people my age & older people. That's preference, not discrimination.

I agree with that but I mean I've spoken to any women who when it comes to the crunch will say "you're too young". So that to me tell me they are attracted but it's just an age think.

Do you see what I mean now?

There's someone for everyone on here, regardless of age. Some of the younger guys do tend to act like total bell-ends though in my opinion. That's off putting for some women I guess.

I would hazard a guess that there are a lot more young men on here compared to women. Some older women enjoy the company of young men but some don't. I would suggest you look for ones whose age range you fit into.

Our filters are quite low but tbh honest it all depends upon how you come across. If it's a mature attitude then we'll be likely to listen to what you have to say and offer, chances are we'd get on well if you like what we have to say also. Immaturity on here is a big turn off for us regardless of age.

Well I'd guess they mean 'you're too young" or its an easy way of them saying "you're not for me.. "

Move on to someone that is interested.

That makes sense. Only issue is women around that age on here tend to act like they're here for attention than actual meets.

Yeah that makes sense that it would he a polite way of saying "sorry not interested" but this was back and forty conversation for a while

Yes that's completely understandable. If you Amy commect with someone mentally then it would be hard to find the motivation to connect with them physically

Age is important to a lot of people, and a lot of women like experience that the may feel they won't get with a younger person. It's not discrimination, it's just preference.

I set my searches so it only shows people that my age fits with their preferences. Therefore when they reject me I know it's because I'm fugly rather than the wrong age

No I only put that age because I didn't think anybody over that age limit would be interested in me so I thought it would just save time. Plus I didn't my profile to seem like I was just here desperate for sex by portraying that I have no limit. Not saying that people who don't have a limit are desperate for sex before people think that I just thought because of my age people's get think that of me.

I should have explained this better. I didn't mean this im reference to te age settings on FAB I meant for example :- two people have connected and are stimulated both by physical attraction and with personality but one turns the other down just simply for age.

I totally agree with this. I tend to find that people my own age display immature attitudes *in general* whereas I get on quite well with those oldder than me. That's true more often than not but not always.

For me would depend on if they look and act much younger. Some younger men look mannly to me and others don't. Some younger guys do act older than myself at times. Having said that I won't go as young as my nieces age or as old as my dad. Goes both ways with the age thing.

Try looking for people who are looking for your age range that are within yours.

The point I was making is that everyone (including yourself) has preferences. Focus on those who's preferences include you is far more beneficial.
