my two are allowed to lounge on my bed daytime only when I am around. When I am out, they are out. Often find feathers in the garden though.

this is why my cat is an indoor cat. Dead presents i could handle (just), its the live ones that would cause me a problem my friends cat once brought her a bat, still alive

Oh my god, how long had it been there?! I opened my bedroom door this morning to find that George had brought me a rat, allbeit a baby one. Yesterday it was a mouse, so I dread what tomorrow will bring. Can shift the mice easily but the rat had me wretching.

Then went downstairs to discover my poor elderly Dylan had shit in the kitchen. My 3rd cat Levi grinned at me from the kitchen table, he'd been a good boy!

I had the most beautiful Persian, she was totally nuts, just Like me lol. She was an indoor cat but liked to sunbath in the garden. She saw a frog chased it and managed to catch it. She was totally horrified! It was the funniest thing ever, she stood there with it hanging out of her mouth and didn't have a clue what to do with the bloody thing. She kept dropping it, dancing back and then picking it to again crying. I had to go rescue the poor frog which was fine, whilst the cat sat and cleaned herself for an hour. She never chased anyrhing bigger than a butterfly again

My Siamese went through a faze of bringing in presents, two bats, one which i rescued alive and set free successfully! A pigeon in the garden- (feathers everywhere) and the odd sparrow or blackbird, which she brings in alive and tortures wwhen I'm out so that when I get home, it looks like an explosion in a pillow factory!

But the body is neatly laid out just inside the front door to "greet me"!

Mine wears a bell so that the birds can hear her sneaking up on them!

She is a good mouser though, and had brought a live one into the house to play with once! Bless her!

We live near a heath, and quite often get dead thing presented to us by our cats. Including squirrels, woodpeckers, sand lizzards, the odd adder in the summer. And loads of bloody mice!
