My luck this week has got even worse...

...some of you may have seen my other thread but now on top of that I woke up in hospital this morning.

In the early hours I was wide awake, couldnt sleep so thought id take a walk round the block. Wasnt cold and would be quiet. And it was...well apart from the car that sped too fast round the corner and knocked me over....and then drove off. May be the time of night so the driver wasnt paying attention, maybe they were d*unk, maybe I didnt look properly, ill never know. The police want me to make a statement but I didnt actually see anything at all. Luckily the old chap opposite heard the noise and looked out his window to see me laying there.

You could view it as unlucky that you got hit (which it obviously is!) but you could also view it that it was lucky the old man noticed and called for help for you.
