Blazing Saddles for the win surely. A classic that would never get made today.

The Princess Bride for the subtlety of the humour.

Life of Brian for so many quality classic scenes, Holy Grail for the same.

With a cracking view

'Young Frankenstein'

I sing "Putting on the Ritz" sooo differently now !!!

In agreement about 'Blazing Saddles' !!

'Life of Brian' is in there as well ...

'A Shot In The Dark' gets an honourable mention !!

I can't say it's my favourite comedy film of all time but in Planes, trains and automobiles one of the best comedy scenes ever is when they wake up together after the night in the motel.

Or the bit where they are picked up by the pig farmer. I sometimes watch that film just to catch those bits.

Love that film.

" Oh hidy ho officer, we've had a doozy of a day. There we were minding our own business, just doing chores around the house, when kids started killing themselves all over my property"
