Menston near Ilkley

He bragged, the following day he hit a car at three times the speed limit, killing the driver (24yo) and literally tearing the other car apart, whilst jumping a red light.

Six years.............is this justice?

With the sentence being under seven years he will be out in three years.

Brighton - even Hove!

He didn't mean to kill him....however, his actions were deliberately against the law and he showed little regard for anyones safety. In this case, I'd have my jackboots on and sentance him to life on South Georgia. He could come back in a bodybag.

I hope the family of the bloke he killed will be waiting for him when he comes out.

His driving and attitude were dangerous and reckless and his follown up actions showed a flagrant disregard for the law and the victim. Sentence should have been longer IMO

Stockport

the sentencing needs to be drastically increased.its ridiculously low for the impact of the crime considering reckless and high speed driving is obviously going to have consequences for others.

I don't understand how someone with no license and no insurance was allowed to rent an A6?

There lies another story, hired for him by a 'friend'. I'll make no assumptions, however I have my own thoughts.

Must be a 'wealthy' individual to hire an Audi A6 and give it to an uninsured, unlicensed 18yo.

I think the judge said he would serve 3 years in a young offenders institute, and then be released on license......

Scandalous.
