getting rid of mice

where I live we have had mice in most houses on street, I bought a few of the sonic plug ins they are suppose to deter mice, I have seen the odd one in my house but don't stay, those machines must play singalong with max bygraves, has anyone had success with the machines or not

We didn't have success with them. You probably live near countryside?

Using buckets of water worked for us, but it does kill them.

live in town center a lot of takeaways so they bring them,as the customers dump leftovers anywhere except a bin, on saying that not many rubbish bins around

We lived near some countryside. Once they started building houses all the mice flooded out houses then.

You can ask the council if they can provide a pest control service. Our council offers them at cheap rates.

years ago we found a tiny mouse in the garden hadn't even got fur I hand fed it for a week but it died in the end

Of course then you must keep them as pets or kill them As its a crime to release vermin.

We got up one morning to find 2 adult mice and 7 babies drowned in a bucket of bleach water. It looked like mass suicide and was a bit upsetting. I would suggest getting a cat or Jack Russel dog.

Yes!

I got one that sends the waves through the pipes and also used pure peppermint oil on cotton wool dotted around the house. Worked a treat.
