Anybody know what this os, ive just looked at my hot list and... Theres a little green dot next to some names?

This is what confuses me. I don't sign out on my phone,I just switch windows. I get messages from people saying you here? when I'm not. I thought I was still showing online even though I wasn't actually viewing the site.

I can't get it as on phone but I don't like it anyway and don't see the difference it makes other than to replace the words user online now.

I would like the option to be able to come on line without showing as on line to anyone. Sometimes just want to pop on read forums and pop off without being bothered by anyone.

I don't have a hotlist. I like it because if I read a message sometimes I will only reply straight away if the person is online. I can see straight away from looking at the message whether they are online or not, rather than having to click on their profile to see. Obviously not all features are going to be useful to all people.
