Away with the fairies (Liverpool to you)

Being alone in the world....I have a recurring nightmare that I wake up and no one else is here - not anyone....it's silent and eerie and I don't know what to do or where to go so I sit on the stairs and cry. I cry out loud even though I am asleep and wake up covered in tears with Pete holding me and kissing me - but it happens again and again

I must not fear. Fear is the mind-killer. Fear is the little-death that brings total obliteration. I will face my fear. I will permit it to pass over me and through me. And when it has gone past I will turn the inner eye to see its path. Where the fear has gone there will be nothing. Only I will remain...

I know, but when I was growing up I didn't know anything about pedophiles, it wasn't on the news or in papers like it is now.

Hereabouts

When I was little I was scared of monsters under the bed and being home alone. I used to say to myself "I'm safe 24 hours a day , 7 days a week, 52 weeks a year, for infinity years" or if I was really scared it would be "I'm safe 60 seconds a minute, 60 minutes an hour, 24 hours a day......" So on. And because it was a bit of a mouthful to say all that and I was afraid I'd slip up and the monsters would get me, I changed it to "I'm safe 24/7/52/infinity"

I bet it was, it was just that we didn't have the same amount of coverage. Example: the headmaster at my primary school was arrested and sent to prison for it, and it was reported all over the place. It's such a shame parents are made to feel frightened of such things these days, by media-saturation.

Wasps!

Working as a gardener I have hit several nests while Strimming or hedge trimming. Luckily the most stings I have had is around 15 at once, but the fear is on a hot day and I hit a nest I will be covered by them!

Makes me shudder at the thought.

I have mentioned it in the past but it's not something that happens all the time so not always a problem. As a child I was very isolated and non verbal so it could be something to so with it but I am happy now so it's all good

Having an argument with someone I love, and them suddenly dying before we'be had a chance to make up. I think that's coupled with my inability to stay mad with anyone for too long.

In fact anyone that I love dying full stop, that and getting too lost in my mind again and being unable to get out.
