Ok, so I have a 9 stone English Mastiff bitch. She turned 8 years old last month. Sure, she's my best friend. I rescued her just over 3 years ago from her previous owners, who used her as a breeding machine.

I had her 'done' within the first week of rescuing her. I nearly lost her to infection afterwards.

She isn't good with other dogs because of her past, unless she meets a dog that is equally as big as she is. She won't tolerate other bitches though.

Anyway, this morning I wasn't happy with her AT ALL! She ate the remainder of the garlic wedges we had for tea last night. She's just yacked them up onto my living room carpet. She must've loved them, as she ate them again......

That is all. Good day to you

Two good things: you don't have to clean up the sick, and the garlic will deter fleas

My cat has very long fur and a double coat so we're moulting at the moment. He often throws up a bit when he's trying to clear a fur ball so I keep finding little piles of part digested food

I love her, but when she eats her own yack, it makes holding on to my own stomach contents very difficult lol

Our dachshund certainly lives up to the breed characteristic of "brave to the point of being rash"

He thinks he can take on a horse, or a pack of huskeys or the postman

He's awesome

My lil puppy squeeled the other morning and was lifting his back leg up. I didn't see what happened. Let him rest and only walk on it for a wee or when he wants too.. He is fine in him self but still 2-3 days on they give out on him every so often and he afraid of going up steps and stairs now

my beagle did something similar. ..

He jumped up whilst on the tiles in the kitchen and slipped on landing and pulled a muscle in his hamstring

it's taken a good couple of months for him to heal fully

just take it easy on his exerciser otherwise he's likely to pull it again

I adore dogs.... They are just beautiful souls (on the whole, you do get some horrible ones) miss having a dog.....

My friends getting two pups in a couple of weeks, gonna get me some puppy loving in...

worth a vet check, even if only for some meticam, painkiller, otherwise some times they get in the habit of not using a leg, and causing further issues.

My sadly now departed doggie used to enjoy snacking on the contents of the cat's litter tray. First time I caught him I threw up on the spot.

I've got two again now as my old girl popped her clogs, named new puppy poochI2 as like my first dog the first thing she did when I collected her was to puke in my car then made my nose bleed by catching me with a claw while play fighting, as for my big boy, I was told he was a collie lab cross but grew into a bloody great beast. Black wolf is best way to picture him. Big soft lump he is.

Horsham

Not had a dog for 20 years now, she was a border collie. A brilliant dog who was too smart for her own good at times, such a loyal part of the family.

It is true now matter what mood you are in they are always a friendly face to see.
