Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

I'm spending the day with the boys. They are still asleep.

Is it my duty to make them get up and enjoy the sunshine we have now in case it goes in? Or, should I let the little angels have a lie in because they've missed their own beds?

We will be going out later.

There's not much sunshine here these days, I'd be getting em out in it. Building dens and climbing trees and making rope swings

We are up, showered, dressed, breakfast eaten (not me mind I still have zero appetite) and getting ready to go catch the train to Margate for the day. But I was woken at 6am so we've had loads of time.

My boy is also still sleeping but as there isn't much sunshine about today I think I will let him carry on.... It will be his first lie in since the start of half term

Wait until he's fourteen. He won't be so eager to get up then. Even with a lie in it's going to be a job to persuade the teenager out of bed.

The kids had bunny ear clocks. No one allowed out of bed until the bunny ears went up. If they woke up they had to stay in bed, unless going to the toilet and then straight back into bed.

Let them sleep,no one likes miserable kids on a day out. London is nice in the evening if you run out of sunshine.

I'm lucky as they're still willing to hold my hand, even though they are bigger than me.
