house to myself

I've had the house to myself for a week and a half now. The other half has gone off festivaling and I've had lots of friends over, but I think my favourite moment was last night, utter bliss. Total silence, me in a stand alone cast iron bath, soaking, having a smoke and reading 100 Years of Solitude for my Spanish exam tomorrow.So relaxed!

What do you like to do when youve got the house to yourself? What do you miss when your partner(s) is/are away?

I cook sausages in just my underpants when left to my own devices.

The rest of the house is veggie so I like to catch up on my meat eating.

The very very rare time that all the kids are out at once I go and have a long relaxing bath no noise heaven .no partner thank god to miss

Have the house to myself a lot now daughter in uni so I'd rather have peeps around now as it's way too quiet and there's only so much cleaning or pampering one can do

I loved the peace, been quite busy having people over so last night was lovely and zen for me more friends set for this afternoon though!
