Do you prefer The Thunderbolt or The Slow Burner?

"Do you prefer The Thunderbolt or The Slow Burner?"

Those sound like race horses

Aaaaand they're off !

Thunderbolt is straight out of the starting gate and takes an early lead.

Slow Burner is taking it steady into the first corner, letting Thunderbolt gather speed ....

Thunderbolt is easily opening up a couple of lengths, but will he have the stamina to go the distance ?

Slowburner is almost at a canter but looks good for the long haul.

They're coming to the first hurdle and, Oh My !, Thunderbolt has stumbled and almost unseated his rider !

Slow Burner has now made up all of the gap and looks comfortable.

Thunderbolt doesn't look steady at all, rocking and rolling from side to side.

He's not going to make it, he's tiring, and falling back.

Slow Burner is now pulling ahead into the final furlong!

He's surely going to win.!

The crowd are going wild, cheering him on as he crosses the finish line

Something which fires off like a thunderbolt which then burns brightly for ages?

Too selfish?

Surely they're films?

Whilst I have nothing against Ray Liotta, I'm a sucker for 1950s Ealing comedies. Besides, a whole field of tits? Mmmmmm

We've had both, the thunderbolt when we first met which became the slowest of burners as the years have passed.

Ours was a thunderbolt with no time to breathe

I meant we had to learn a whole lot about each other over time and learn to adapt and accept each other's nuances

I could say I may have preferred a slow burner but over 20 years down the line the thunderbolt seems to have stood the test of time

I prefer to have a slow burner, lots of foreplay, fun and frolicking before going all the way...

Why rush and spoil a good thing?

Thunderbolt. I'd rather have a few jolts than a slow burner.

Relationship wise- do you prefer a slow burner or a thunder bolt?

I've had both

I think that the thunderbolt burns itself out rapidly

I'm a fan of the slow burner for long term relationships

Thanks for that! I guess I'd personally go for the slow burner. What's the point of a thunderbolt?!
