However sometimes I'd just like someone to come spend the night at my house so I can feel their warmth as we sleep.

In the past 8 years I have had one settee cuddle and two nights sharing a bed.

Not for me. I have a buddy who spends more time kissing and cuddling me than having sex. I don't have any romantic or feelings of love for him. I just like the feeling of it.

sounds pretty spot on!

I miss the cuddly part of having a partner, but not enough that I want another useless male that needs looking after, lol, so meets where we can fall asleep together after a good session is ideal.

I like cuddles. I like to have intimacy with someone I feel comfortable with. I wouldn't ever get that confused with an emotional connection. Spending the night with someone occasionally is nice, not to cuddle all night as that's uncomfortable and too hot. Knowing you'll wake them or them you during the night is a very pleasant thought.
