Hey everyone interested to know who struggles to get babysitters so they can go out and how do they find them that don't charge through the roof and are trust worthy... Please only genuine posts

Family and friends, usually done by returning the favour when they need it..

personally Would never trust a stranger regardless of references

We're lucky my parents live close by as they have him maybe once a month for a night (he's VERY energetic and isn't easy to handle)

I use friend's daughters

I've never had a problem and the familiarity between families helps the kids and sitters.

I pay £4 - 5 per hour and taxi if necessary

Did not leave my kids or go out apart from to work for seven years, even though my mum was around ... Almost drive me crazy. They are teens now has to be family and friends.

We had to move away from family with work.

It's been really tough! We know a couple of local childminders now though and we sometimes will use those of its a social or evening thing.

Generally if it's a club or something like that then our parents come up or the kids are down there already.

It really isn't easy though, you are not alone!

I would only trust my mum or sister ans she's got 2 of her own so no chance of that happening. My mums health isn't great so can't ask her often. If that means I only go out 2/3 times a year so be it. I couldn't afford to pay someone and go out anyway so even if I would it wouldn't be an option.

We only get time away from the Sprog when Bradley's Mum can have him.

Nobody else (family and friends, I mean) lives nearby and I wouldn't trust a stranger to look after him, but then again, we're lucky enough to be in a position where I don't have to work and I know some don't get that choice.

At the end of the day, you do what you must.

My kids are all at school, one of my kids goes to his friends to sleep over, the others at their dads. I babysit back the same weekend. Sometimes i don't have the money to go out anyway.

Really good reply thanks...

I moved down to England and we used to have Sarah mum watch kids but both her parents past away.. We sometimes rely on same people but tends to be too much for them we have 4 kids lol.. Some go to there dad's but it's mostly our 2 year old.. We are thinking of finding a babysitter but you can't be 100 percent sure.. Xxx

I've got 4 myself, but yeah had to make my life work round my family and did have to give up a lot of what i wanted to do that. It gets easier as they get older, so it's not like this forever.
