"Get out in the sun - when you can. iv got it on my inner thighs and I take vit d suppliments, and use coconut oil on it. Best thing I found for mine was either a short skirt And legs in the sun. Gonna try get the sunbeds on the go for it too " Sunlight and vitamin D has been the best for mine too, but because of where it is... Well, you can't really get away with having your arse out in public, lol. Most of these lotions and potions mentioned made mine flare up. Bathing it in plain water and tanning beds seemed to make mine much better. x

"I have it on my head.. daughter gave me some Egytian magic cream I tried this week massaged into scalp which was pretty dry and shedding. Left on overnight, washed yesterday and this morning scalp is clear and normal pink apart from two tiny patches which I possibly missed. No itching so far. Will check again in a few days. " Cinn i'd be interested in the results, I use Selsun for it at the moment

"I have it on the crown of my head & the base of my scull - I call it my 'crown of thorns' ha! - It hurts like Hell when it flairs up & I've always felt deeply ashamed of it & must say that I've found this thread surprisingly helpful, educational/informative & reassuring! - Who knew Fab could be so broad in its reach & appeal!! - Thank you to all who've contributed & the op & best wishes, one & all Rafa x " Coconut oil is also good to moisturise the scalp. I leave over night soaks in well. Stops the itch.

My GP prescribed some topical lotion , years ago now, that didn't work as far as I remember - that said, I didn't persevere with it because I was worried about hair loss - male vanity & silly really, I know! - I didn't fully understand your last message btw?! - Thank you though x

"I've (female half) have had it since 17. It's progressively taken up accommodation on ever part of my body. Stress definitely contributes to it, and I have a variety of lotions and potions- from what I have been told that your body eventually gets used to it and it stops working. I've unfortunately not found a magic cure for it. Do people find vitamin D supplements work? Xx" You'd never know it to look at your pictures gorgeous x

"One if our team had it head to toe and us now clear thanks to a refer to a dermatologist within a week of prescribed tablets cyclosporin she was clear she now takes methotrexate weekly and is still clear. Well worth it " You know I've never seen a dermatologist. I've been told mine isn't severe enough. Steroids and immunosuppressants are always a last resort, but that's great that it's cleared I have steroid topical cream and goodness knows what damage that is doing long term. I've been told that maybe having a baby would be the way getting rid of it..took that with a pinch of salt!! xx
