I liked Coconut Boosts, Extra-strength Marmite and Mint-Choc Angel Delight.

All appear to have been discontinued in our local shops since you 'normal' people don't buy them.

What things were your favourite, but got discontinued regardless?

Maple Water. It was delicious but my local Waitrose told me that I was only person buying it and they couldn't keep in stock just for me. They didn't go as far as calling me a weirdo though. Well, not to my face.

"Mint-Choc Angel Delight sounds sexy as."

It was.

I'm currently eyeing up the peppermint essence we had to buy for our son's first ever cookery class 10 years ago and wondering if I dare...

(I think he used three drops of it!)

You can get tinned, smoked John West ones in Waitrose. I only know this because I had to get some for someone with weird tastes.

Coke Black. They sold it in the US for about a year before it disappeared. It was Coca-Cola with coffee. Yum yum.

Since it made it through the grand clear-out of the new larder move, it seems a bit petty not to use it. Though I always prefer to cook things for a long time when they're 9 years past the sell-by date, just to make sure.

At £1.99 a can you might not want to throw too many at an anti-austerity march.

Cadburys website says these were discontinued in 1994! I was going to look to see if there were any still kicking about on the internet that I could buy, but now I think I'll give it a miss!

1985 to 1994, according to the internet. I don't remember them as that great but perhaps if I tried them again I would change my mind. My memory is that I just preferred having a Bounty.

I fear you may, single-handedly mind, be the reason for the demise of every single one of these products. Your failure to notice their cessation suggests you weren't buy them.

I'm Sorry! I have actually been looking for those delicious Spicy Tomato, Crispy Bacon, Worcester Saucy packs of Wheat Crunchies for ages, I thought that Morrisons had just stopped stocking them

The coconut boosts the OP was talking about I thought they must have been a promotional limited edition that I had missed rather than something that disappeared 21 years ago! No wonder the shop owner thought he was a weirdo!
