the actor Terry Sue-plat who played Benny on Grange Hill has been found dead aged 50 .a little piece of my teenage years just died

Gosh! Terry Sue-Patt was the same age as me and I remember being so excited that there was a famous black boy and right there at the beginning.

My memory isn't that good. I know we all noticed him in the first episode - it was still noteworthy back then to see a black face on television.

Both started roughly the same time. But us Londoners could properly relate to Grange Hill as opposed to an American show.
