The Apple watch, despite its price, doesn't even have the security of Apple phones, so easy stuff to nick off someone's wrist and then usable.

I'm in no rush to get any of them. If a free one came with a phone, I might experiment but generally I never wear a watch at all, so probably unlikely to become a regular wearer.

I bought one for my husbands birthday few weeks back. He loves it! You can do so much on it.

I fail to see the point of spending upwards of £600 to wear a device that does the things your £600 phone does that's in your pocket.

Genius marketing by Apple though, it'll fly off shelves like shit off a shovel.

The big hand points to 7 and the little hand points to 10.

Oh, is that not how things work these days?

It's pretty sad when people need a device to read a message from the device in their pocket.

Personally I can't see the point in them, but if you're into tech then they will have an appeal

Some people also seem to have more sensors than money.

I've got the Microsoft band it's somewhere between a fitness band and a smart watch. But I use it more as an exercise tracker and easy to access interface to my phone. I don't want a smart watch as I already have my omega which will still be doing what I want a watch to do years after the latest apple fad

Don't forget that you need to charge it every night.

The Microsoft band has good reviews, whereas I'm not sold on the Apple watch.

The Apple watch even comes with instructions from Apple on how to reset bypass any passlock that the user had set. In other words, once stolen, anyone can use it/flog it as unlocked etc. Pretty much nil security, unlike most modern phones, including the iphone.

If you can use at is gps and have navigation on the actual watch, I'd have one. As a keen mountain bike cyclist, id use it quite often for just that purpose. Better than strapping your phone to the handlebars..

The Apple watch is the absolute opposite of a fanny magnet.

Stock to something classy and Swiss
