Ronseal really lol what it is the etiquette if you come across a profile of someone you know in the vanilla world, would you make yourself known and offer advice or would you block them or maybe even speak to them 'anon'

Way over Yonder, that's where I'm bound

Block and let them get on with their own life as you get on with yours.

How would you feel?

Putting the 'cum' in Eboracum

Depends. If I want to to shag them and they want to shag me, I'm fine with it. Otherwise, block.

What advice would you offer?

We block anyone we recognise but some people say hello, it's your call really.

There is no reason to interrupt others' lives, because you've discovered something private about them. They will be here for their reasons and could inform you wherever else they know you from, should they have chosen to. They haven't and so honour their choice.

True story was on bus yesterday saw a lady i chatted to and seen at a club glances exchanged but neither rightly conversed or mentioned owt and thats right thing to do called respect.

In addition to that was in cafe after getting off bus was served by lady i met as part of a couple now that was funny she asked if having a fab day. I didnt react as her hubby not there.

block whoever I recognise and if someone messages me claiming to recognise me, I block them instantly too.

My advice to you OP, don't piss on your own doorstep

It depends how you 'know' them.

If you were to make yourself known, I'd do it via here, certainly never in the 'vanilla world'.

We have been contacted by a colleague of mine, by a friend of our daughter, seen people in the street that we recognise from pictures on here and we've either blocked them or made no indication that we know them. We did meet a man at an organised social who lived within sight of our house, we do chat to him when we see him but respect his privacy as he does ours.

Near Edinburgh..

Had one guy come up to us on the beach and say " your the folks from Fabswingers aren't you."

and started a grunted kinda snorting type laughing / sniggering !!!

This immaturity alone put us into angry mode and He got told under quite an angry voice that it was in his interests to do effing do one..
