Just purchased a Crome cast thingy, now Luke can get his phone to work perfectly with it!

My iPhone & iPad doesn't

What am I doing wrong? Anyone got any ideas?

Surely being Google Chrome it's Chrome OS or Android based tech ?.... Can you therefore get Apple products to work with it ?

Luke can view his whole phone content, screen, pics ect! I can only view YouTube stuff and iplayer stuff

You'll need Chromecast app from the appstore installed on you're iPad and iPhone then you'll have not problems

I believe the technical term for it is that is fucking fucked... Took it to the Apple Store and they had problems system restoring it and then it switched on ok and now it's off and won't come back on at all ( and yes it was fully charged when it switched itself off) it's totally dead doesn't even show as charging when you plug it in!

I have a friend who took her ipad back to apple because of a fault 16 months from purchasing, after being told that under EU law everything comes with a 2 year guarantee and not just the 1 that we get told about she thought she would try her luck, they changed it for her

Chromecast even with an iphone is great, searching netflix, now tv etc on phone and playing tv is fab

Check out the offers too, got mine last nov on offer for £20 and have redeemed about £50 in google offers since.

Can do more with it if you have an android phone. Works perfect for me. My Bro has one too, but limited on his as he only has an gs3 mini, mine is a gs4. Works great. I got mine on offer too, but my Bro got discount on both of ours as he works for tesco. Really worth the money.

I've found that if you go onto your side menu (left hand side), cast the screen, it will mirror anything you have on your phone. Deezer and showbox will not work through screen mirroring, but if you cast the screen first, showbox and deezer (just for example) will work.
