Any car mechanics need some help

I have a Ford Focus 2002 model. The heater only works on one setting. Have checked the fuses and there ok. Any ideas what it maybe

rheostat, it controls the speeds its basically a variable resister. will be expensive and a pain in the arse to fit. i did one on a megan scenic and with them things you have to take the entire dashboard and airbags out of the car

Yep its a stat as said above but its a piece of piss on a focus. Get 1 from a scrappers but take all the wiring to as it often burns that out to

yep just checked with one of lads whos a ford geek - open glove box squeeze sides in and it will drop forward resistor is held in with a screw - dont get second hand will probs only last 5 mins
