The alarm clock motivates me to wake up and turn it off

I love weekends when I wake up in my own time and hear birds singing and see the sun shining into my room - that makes me want to go for a walk before everyone else gets up and spoils it

That sounds like a lovely way to start the day.

Much better than waking up before your alarm lying in bed waiting for it to go off.

But I find find a good soak in the shower is enough to get me going.

Hopefully the day is dry and warm so I can at least have the windows open when stuck in traffic.
