Brighton - even Hove!

I'm getting older. I find myself thinking back to when I was a kid. I never used to. I'm less patient in some ways but more so in others. I don't seem to have lost a sense of wonder. My friend is the same age but appears in all ways to be older.

I've started going grey on the sides so in my head I'm just like Mr Fantastic from The Fantastic Four. Looking down and seeing a patch of grey pubes slightly killed my buzz though.

Lol I've always said that they say you're only as old as the woman you feel which is fine but as soon as they say you're only as old as the man you feel I'm out lol

I feel old seeing friends siblings i remember being born turning 16/17/18, passing driving tests etc.

The offers to get the no questions asked life insurance, with a free pen, that keep popping into my email inbox.

Other than that I feel I have reached the right age for me.

Standing joke at my parents - some of my mail is still posted there and about once a month or so I get life insurance offers based on my current time age... They reckon my current age is anything between 53-65... I'm 22!!!!!! My mum thinks it's hilarious.

Are they basing it on your partner's age if you have linked accounts?

as I hurtle towards my 50's I feel that I have finally become comfortable with who myself and how I look...

the menopause is a distant memory and I finally have my mojo back hehe...add to that I am now the same low weight I was pre child (over 10 yrs ago) and have no sags or wrinkles either so don't really look my age....but then again I don't feel it either

so all I can say if this is old age...bring it on!

I recently had an eye test and the optician told me that my eyesight was still good for my age.

He then looked across at his computer and said "Oh, you're only 44".

What a bastard!!!!!
