Well I was married for 14 months, we were together for 2 and a half years. I was fucking within a week, but I had been swinging with my ex anyway so that's not too bad.. It took me about 3 months to spend time socially with another man, as well as sleeping together. And although there were no deep feelings it was the first step. It's now been 10/11 months and I'm still single but my residual feelings are gone and I'm ready for a new partner.

But everyone is different. It depends on the relationship you had and how it ended and how you deal with things. There's no right or wrong answer

Pretty much what tgnd said. Although never married, I have come out of 4 long term relationships over the years and each one has been different
