I recently had treatment for testicular cancer and had a testicle removed . Now do I have prosthetic one fitted ( heard good and bad things about them ) or do I stick with the one ..?

What was the advice from the specialist?

The advice given was purely personal choice as its really an issue of being comfortable with how I look.

My male mate has a false one. He had an accident when he was a young lad. You can't tell the difference at all he always whips them out at parties lol

"Thanks Tease xx"

In recent weeks I've met two lovely people. One a lady with one breast removed and a guy with a colostomy bag!

Both have said that the vast majority have had no problems with meeting them.

Whatever you decide to do lovely, no-one with an ounce of decency would decline to meet you because of something like that.

Good luck and big hugs! Xx

Do whatever you're happy with..

Years ago I met a guy who had only one, made no difference at all.

It's all about how you feel.

My ex had one removed due to cancer, and to be honest I don't think having a single testicle made a single bit of difference to anything at all.

I was born with only one and did have wee bit hang up about it as a teenager, didn't go for a prophetic one and have no hang ups now or problems at all

Personal choice I say

I think its personal choice. Doesnt make you less of a person. I have my scars. You do whats best for you and not for anyone else x

I don't see as it should make any difference in practical terms, good luck either way.

It's all down to how you feel about your body and. If it's going to make a difference to you going forward. Also, I guess whether you want to have surgery again.

It's not an issue whatsoever for me. I've met guys with only one ball and guys with various other issues, one not dropped, one tight etc.

They're all different sizes and shapes.

Good luck whatever you choose.

That would be a crystal ball?

Have you seen/held the prosthetic testicle?

Do as much research as possible and weigh up the pros and cons. If looks are important to you then get the prosthetic fitted

Good luck

Shame they can't fit you with a velcro flap so it can be an optional testicle.

I've played with men who only had one (a couple cos they'd been removed, one born that way) and a couple of guys with a prosthetic one. With the prosthetic they feel slightly different if you're having a good grope but they look very good and you generally can't see the scar.

As for the guys with only one it never bothered me. In fact one guy didn't mention it and it was a fair while before I even noticed!

In performance terms it made no difference.
