If you give out too many compliments, do they lose their effect?

I often notice in pubs/clubs, some guys are always giving out compliments to women but you can tell they don't mean it. If you give out so many compliment's, do they lose their effectiveness and can women see through it?

Yes, they can do.

Sometimes i think maybe they mean them at the time though, and compliments tailored to a particular person are likely genuine as well.

Am sure i'm not the most stunning on this site, not got the best pics, etc. I don't see why people make compliments exclusive and act like that. Just make them realistic.

some dont, and its been evident in various threads..even worse when they cannot see how they have been manipulated, despite everyone effectively telling them otherwise.

I wouldn't do it on here on the forums because when I see it it makes me cringe.

(Especially if I know things. )

To be fair I rarely do it in private because if you do it too often it sounds like bullshit.

Compliments are great to get and to give.

But I wouldn't give a compliment just for the sake of giving a compliment.

And anyway. . My compliments are usually, unintentionally backhanded.

Compliments from friends i know are sincere and genuine on here i take with a pinch of salt.

Most of my compliments just come out totally wrong.

Yes they do lose their effectiveness. Some women see through them, some don't and some don't want to. It's fairly easy to tell if a compliment is genuine or not for instance I know I don't look 35 so I pretty much guess that if man tells me I do he speaks with forked tongue.

If I compliment a woman I mean it. It would be daft for me to just chuck out compliments to every woman in the hope of pulling. That screams of desperation. That's so fake. If I like the look of someone I will say.

The only difference is when I REALLY like someone. Then my compliments will be much deeper and thoughtful and personal, as any woman who's been in that position will tell you
