Not believe I have a black eye cos I did actually fall over the dog? They all assume it's something else....honest guv- I fell over the stupid dog!

People tend to make assumptions... which is quite human and understandable. It would be wise to challenge assumptions and revisit them from time to time as they may not hold true.

My nephew had to make a story up re two black eyes ,.

Said he tackled some big geezer blah blah blah..

When in truth he was chasing the cat down the garden , tripped and gave the garden composter a glasgow kiss
