what would it take for you to change your job, learn a new trade and start all over again from scratch?

I am curious to hear from both male and females, young and mature?

I wish I could say something about getting mentally challenged more than I do at the moment, blah blah blah but it's a lot more simple than that really.

A lot more money than I'm on now, and a guarantee that it'll last.

I've worked hard and sacrificed a lot to get where I am now in my career, so for me to give up the rewards that I'm now reaping would have to be something extra special.

I did exactly that....walked away from a very nice job to do something I actually enjoyed. Don't regret it one bit, the loss of the Salary was offset by the gain of the freedom.

Well at the moment i am very bored in my job and would welcome a new challenge. But with things the way they are at the moment i am a little scared to move.

Sadly economic considerations (public and private) determine what we can and cant do to a degree - I was just wondering what people would do if they could for a moment ignore those restrictions? Just for a moment ...
