Cannock

I would rate Gerrard a 6 out of 10, 7 at best. Lets face it, he's no Pele or Maradona. Some of these players today are elevated by the media above their status, don't believe the hype.

Maradona won the world cup for Argentina pretty much single handed (pun intended), may not agree with his methods but can't argue with what he achieved, and there was nothing wrong with the other goal he scored against England in that game. Gerrard not won anything for England, and not even won the league for Liverpool. Great players like Pele, Maradona and George Best could win games on their own, they are the 10 out of 10's and Gerrard is no where near them.

Are you serious.. I've been a Liverpool fan for 25yrs and a season ticket holder for 16yrs..there's only one player better who's played for the club and that is daglish.. Apart from king kenny nobody rivals Gerrard

Pretty much a Paul McStay figure, an incredible player, in an underfunded/shite team, who should have gone somewhere where his talents would have flourished more.

London

One of my favourite players outside of my supported club.

A one-club man who dragged Liverpool to a lot of their success in the past. Hasn't been the fairytale end to his Liverpool career That he hoped for but he's a living legend. At least he has that.

Liverpool won't be the same without him. He's one of their own.

Aye, he weren't too bad. We have a Isak Ssewankambo on our books. Wanna swap him for Jordon Ibe who we had on loan earlier

Perhaps, but Chelsea are a money club, they've barely won a thing honestly. My dad very briefly played for them in the early 70's and he hated the cunts, especially Tommy Doc.

You're joking aren't you? Underfunded?

Liverpool are the 3rd highest spenders in Premier League history. Behind only Chelsea and Man City.

Between 2003 and 2014 they spent £608 Million.
