Hello Fabbers

How are we all today? Did we have a spiffing Friday? I jolly well hope so.

Still got a painful stiffy here, that’s my knee you naughty sausages!!!

Day two of doing absolutely nothing, bar gossiping in the forums. That was a jolly hoot, thanks chums for keeping me company.

The skies have turned a leadened grey here; the wind is teasing and tossing the newly formed leaves on the branches. My it’s gone a tad chilly too, wrap up warm anyone who is venturing out for the evening be it dinner or to a local hostelry.

The Pooch now thoroughly board with my lazing about antic has returned to work on his latest thesis. It is an argument that life in modern Britain and our attitude to our near neighbours in Europe is formed by our love of Jam rolley polly and disappointing visits to Ikea . My that Pooches mind is unfathomable.

To cheer both man and Pooch up we debated our favourite food, I believe some call it your death row dinner . Not really a happy title, so blame the Pooch for that one. So in the interests of Science and to stop me going so completely stir crazy that I spend the evening gauging the average size of a wheatabix .

What would you choose for your last meal , sorry your favourite meal !

For Me Fish Chips and mushy peas from my local chip emporium which is just delicious , chips crisp outside like fluffy clouds on the inside and the most delicate batter on the cod.

The Pooch. Braised Lamb in a rosemary jous with crushed potatoes and spring green vegetables .
