A female colleague found my POF profile and we started chatting. Nothing really flirty. Then she admitted to me that she wants an 'adult agreement' where we could look after each others physical needs. Nothingvhas happened and I am trying to keep a little bit of distance (have seen horrific fallout from office romance in the past). I must admit to being a little intrigued but think I need to be strong on this one. Help and advice appreciated, but feel free to add personal experiences of this.

If it goes tits up do I have to see them again

Plenty of people outside of your personal life to not have to shag those inside of it

Last thing I'd want is awkwardness and gossip at work if things go wrong

I started up a sex thing with a guy I used to work with, it was fun and we've developed a good friendship out of it.

However, we caused a lot of jealousy and bitchiness at work due to it.

It's really your choice whether you want to risk it!

Iam sure no relationship ever started with a modicum of risk, best not to try it as it may back fire

A lot of couples have met at work, I met Mr through work although we've never worked together.

I think it depends on if you're attracted to each other, and if you both feel that the arrangement suits you.

It may not work out and could be potentially awkward, but as long as you're both mature about it it'll be fine.

Of course it may work and develop into a full blown relationship, who knows?

I wouldn't automatically dismiss it, but you both need to chat about the pros and cons

In all fairness if I worked with you I would be after a workplace romance too! Nice pics btw...

I have a regular thing with one guy who's child is at my child's school. I found him on fab and we both recognised each other. Works quite well because we are both married with children so we both stand to lose the same thing if it were to become public.

you need to see what would happen if worst case scenario happened ie are you married/partnered and could it cause problems etc

Also is she? If you are both single go for it...

your Work should also have a policy on work relationships so make sure you don't end up fired.

I think it's a risk worth taking tho if you are both single and won't lose you jobs...

She just messaged me asking to go to a bbq for another section and to see a movie. An adult arrangement it wouldn't be. I have just given her a polite but firm no thanks
