When you preset the timer to record a programme and it starts 2 minutes early stops just before the end. GRRRRRR

press services on remote

sky+ setup

then you have the option to add minutes at the beginning and end of a recording, up to 10 mins.

then you have the option to add minutes at the beginning and end of a recording, up to 10 mins."

There is also an option on this page to set up a manual recording, the only use I can think of is if you want to record a radio broadcast.
