Food bores me.

I just eat to satisfy my hunger, I get no pleasure from eating at all.

You and me both. I drive my mum mad in the supermarket reading labels. I do my shopping online now if she tells me she's seen one more low fat thing that I have to explain is loaded with a fuck load of sugar so I won't eat it.. It's proven interesting though how little people know about what's goung in their mouth

I used to enjoy eating so much crap. Now I find it interesting what's good and bad and what my body needs. I eat twice now what I used to eat when I was nearly 4 stone heavier. Just goes to show you don't have to starve to lose weight x

Yep, they probably think im a weirdo taking ages reading everything but its pointless doing training if im going to eat junk. Fat doesnt bother me too much its sugar i have cut right out, and being a sweet tooth its taken some getting used to.

Sugar has always been my problem. I used to forego a meal in favour of a family size pack of custard creams!

Me too i used to have 3 sugars in my cups of tea of which i have about 6 a day then chocolate biscuits plus fizzy pop and chocolate daily. Its all gone out the window now, and although i eat loads more and weigh a stone more my body fat has decreased.

If the dinner preparation was down to me we would have toast or bread & butter for every meal. Mrs P knows not to ask me what I want now, she just gives me a plate of food.

Amen sister. I'm obsessed but not so much with the nutritional content, more the smell, texture, flavour - oooh goosebumps!

I'm trying to lose weight (yet again) so trying to make good food decisions and being pleasantly surprised by how much more i'm enjoying food now i'm not eating on autopilot.

I've made a bit of a treat for later, bread and butter pudding made with brown bread, reduced fat spread, mixed spices, loads of cinnamon (can't get enough), powdered sweetener and then the bad bit which was Bird's custard.

The rest of my family don't really eat puddings like that so I guess i'll have to work on my portion control. I'm so gluttonous though.

Me too. Luckily someone else usually cooks for me. I've had to fend for myself this week so eggs have been a main feature.

I've always taken a lot of pleasure in food but since I had to lose a fair bit of weight it occupies most of my thoughts! Just knowing that I'm restricting my diet seems to make my mind fixate on things

I've just indulged myself with a couple of days off the wagon and have eaten LOTS of carbs . It just proved that though my mind likes them my body is much happier without them.

Beef and veggies in oyster sauce and bok choi with garlic for tea tonight.

I've eaten the whole thing, if I KNOW i'm going to do something then why do I put myself in the position in the first place?!
