nope nope and nope - the socket where the charger plugs in kept disconnecting - took it in for a repair and it lasted a couple of months - took it back and was given a new charger eventually but not convinced thats what the issue was - two weeks later same problem - so got it back - they said it was shorting so the reinsulated its innerds - so fingers crossed - never squirt near the lappy

Dodgy workmanship in the first place eh? I bought a reconditioned P.C. about 8 yrs ago and it's pretty much indestructible

yup - no charge though but over a week twice without a laptop isnt fun - this is quite old and never any trouble until this - i never said that

I've got the same problem with mine - a Chronos 7. I need to take it in and get it fixed before the warrantee runs out.

definitely if its still within warranty - this is about 6 yrs old

Mine has an intermittent fault that has got worse. If I fiddle with the connector I can get it to charge. However I can only get it to work now if the laptop is turned off. Job for tomorrow methinks
