Your favourite sport to play or watch?

My favourites to do are Road Cycling, Boxing (not full on obviously but as part of gym training - great for arm toning) and swimming - need to do that more often.

Watching - most sports , with age I seem to have got into more and more. Favourites I guess - football, rugby and cycling. But I'll watch most, apart from golf.

Which are your faves ?

Watching rugby league by far the best oriper contact sport. Played footy rugby etc over years was a boxer not the greatest but was county standard.

Running my fave to do now done various marathons etc even in a race with mo farah.

Least favourite to watch test match cricket I mean how shite is that.

It's rounders season again ! We get a few of us together at work and attempt to play one evening during summer. It usually ends at the pub.

I'm always in awe of anyone who can run a full marathon !

Cricket is very popular where I live as a participation sport for both youngsters and adults . Lots of lovely cricket pavilions for cream teas too.

I love playing netball. Unfortunately, it's probably my last season at the level I currently play. I am getting too old and decrepit to keep up with the 18 year olds bouncing around the court without breaking a sweat. Plus ankle is buggered now. So I am joining a senior team and gonna play lower down the divisions. Bit gutted really.

I love to watch cricket. Blokes in their cricket whites is so effing sexy.

Love watching rugby, tennis, volleyball, gymnastics, ice skating.

I like alternative sports, so diving, wake boarding, most things water based. Really want to learn to kite surf this summer. That's this years' target.

Due to injury my glittering football career was ended early, so I probably mostly enjoy golf these days to play.

In terms of watching, I will watch most things, but enjoy it when there are 2 evenly matched contestants. For example Swindon Sheffield Utd the other night probably cannot be beaten for pure drama and excitement. All 3 final games in the last 6 nations with 3 teams going for the title was amazing. Some of the epic battles between Federer and Nadal have been awe inspiring. The 2005 Ashes series was entralling. Super Saturday in the Olympic stadium is something that brought tears to my eyes.

Great competition, in whatever sport is simply brilliant.

NFL is good.... but there is a reason when the NFL doesn't play saturdays.... and thats college football... way for passionate and a better viewing experience (and in the south and the midwest.. higher attendance)

I love watching playoff sport... playoff nfl, nba and especially NHL hockey is just something else!!!

MMA is cool... F1 is cool (nothing beats the last 100 miles of the indy 500 though!)

To do - rock-climbing (although I don't really think of it as a sport, as for me there's no competitive element, or at least not beyond wanting not to be beaten by my mates), also road cycling and skiing (although I don't race, in either).

To watch, football, climbing (but see above), alpine skiing and especially road cycling. I get quite obsessive about watching the Tour de France on telly each summer... it's such a brilliant event, all of the excitement of an entire sporting season condensed into three weeks, with high drama every single day. The tactical battles, plots and sub-plots and of course the incredible performance levels make it an absolutely fascinating spectacle.

MAMOBA, miles and miles of bugger all (Aberdeenshire)

Sports - take part in things like tough mudder, spartan, and other mud obstacle races. Also a bit of a les mills fan in classes at the gym, and do a lot of gym work too.

Watching - footy! Current fella trying to explain rugby to me.

They have a brilliant mud runner fairly near to me. I'd hurt my shoulder when I was supposed to do it. It's great as most people just do it to challenge themselves and compete as teams.
