Yes,plenty of times!

See one regularly - have now identified him as my great grandfather (died before I was born) through an old photo.

I also hear an old woman in my house.

I have a resident spook in my house.started with a few scraping sounds(like a door over a carpet n shuffling sounds) then my eldest son when but a nipper said a wee girl would sometimes sit at bottom of his bed n talk to him.when my youngest sons mum was pregnant, one day she was in hallway brushing her hair n turned to me(22ft away n said"what is it" saying I'd just tapped her on shoulder.I thought for a moment then told her the story of the spook, she wasn't impressed but after chatting to neighbours and her finding out a toddler(girl) was killed in house fire(I already knew) n we could only sumise it was welcoming the prospective new addition to the house.haven't heard anything from "the lodger" for cpl of yrs

Was a sceptic now an absolute believer , had so many things happen to me over the years. Met a psychic once who said I was more of a magnet than her and that's why so many experiences. Scared the shit out if me and I would never be brave enough to go to a spiritualist church !

There's definitely something, it may be just ones sub conscious but I find that impossible to believe.

I see dead people ha ha ha

One in the back of my car, Christmas time 2004 driving down the A14 late one night in Cambridgeshire. The spirit basically warned me of a crash ahead. I like to think it was a guardian angel........... Or a cheeky ghost getting a free lift back to Liverpool!

Definitely something in it. Ive heard the theory once that, rather than contemporary manifestations of those who were once living, 'Spirits' are actually echoes of the past or future. Even to the skeptics this may be plausible, as there are several scientific theories purporting that time is non linear..

Some manifestations are 'recordings' of the past captured via transmitting mediums such as natural stone containing crystal etc - this explains recurring 'ghosts' in the same place (such as the famous Roman soldiers marching through the cellar in York) - others cannot be rationally explained and, personally, I view it like a radio receiver i.e. if you are perfectly tuned in - you are a medium - if you are slightly off key - you mat see or feel spirits occasionally - if you are way off the frequency - nothing and you will never believe. Hope that makes sense. It's just my theory after years of research.

Yep good theory. I've not seen anything concrete myself, a few freaky occurrences but nothing certain. I remain open minded on all things though unlike some.

Got one from me old man. Now he's a salt of the earth Yorkshireman, no reason to disbelieve him at all.

At our old house he had several very strange experiences with keys. Once he saw a key on its key rack thing (dunno if there's a name?) it was swinging like a pendulum for a solid few minutes, and then just stopped dead centre as if it hadn't been moving at all.. Then a few weeks later the same key came out of my mums bag on the way back from asda and it was bent at a perfect 90% angle. Now this was one of those thick gold heavy duty keys, you'd struggle to do that intentionally! There was other key related incidences, I forget what. Apparently all stopped when we moved house..

Honestly loads and loads. One particular one, my mum passed away from C about 4 years ago. About 5 months after her passing I was at the docs waiting for a blood test after just being told I potentially had C ( I didn't ) . I was sitting there trembling and thinking of mum and the fact that she would have sat in that very same surgery worrying once. I didn't tell a soul that I had that appointment .

Later that day I received a phone call from my Aunty telling me that she had clearly heard my mums voice that morning and telling me that all mum said was ' tell ( my name ) that I love him '.

I casually asked her what time she heard the voice, it was at the exact time I'd been sitting there waiting for that blood test . Made the hairs on the back of my neck stand up !

One of many since childhood

Eerie. I've got a more traditional one. Used to work in a 700 year old castle. Was polishing glasses in the east wing when I heard the handle rattle on one of the adjacent doors, and it opened. I thought it was the supervisor July, and thought nothing of it. Later found out that July had been on the opposite side of the castle the whole time packing up tables!! Oh and this was at 3 in the morning and no one else was about! I'm not convinced about ghosts, but that was unexplainable.

Unexplainable, like mine. Ghosts may or may not exist but there are things like this that are difficult to explain away with an ' ignorant ' dismissal.

Prior to the late 19th century people would have said exactly the same about electricity.

Only people with closed minds think that way

Yep. I went to a medium when I lived in Cyprus, she knew nothing about me, and I kept my mouth shut throughout (first time for everything ).

She was very clear and precise. Shocking really.

The was a Boeing 757 that needed towing to the hangers, when I got on someone was sitting half way down the plane. I went to tell the n to get off, as neared them they were not quite there. I locked myself in the cockpit for the tow.

I saw a ghost at hotel in Rainhill, every Christmas he appears from the toilets spends 15 minutes in the function room then goes back to the toilets. He was at a Christmas party he went the toilets and died of a heart attack.

in the night garden

I have encountered what some might call the paranormal.

Picture the scene. I go to work one morning completely alone in the office and put my sandwiches in the fridge. I think nothing more of it only the next time I go to the fridge at lunch... they're gone. Not only that but I couldn't help noticing the temperature around me dropping as I searched for the sandwiches. An eerie cold enveloped me as I looked on every shelf and the hairs stood up on the back of my neck. Still to this day I have never discovered the de-materialised sandwiches or the malevolent entity that persecuted me that dark day. What a cunt!
