Once left my daughter in front of the tv watching her fave sesame street video while i shot upstairs with my husband for a bit of afternoon delight. it was a fast furious fuck and afterwards i noticed the bedroom phone lying next to us on the bed. i did initially think we had knocked it onto the bed in the throes of passion. It is amazing how quick we can go soft in that situation. I was sure my sons had some sort of sex radar or sibling prevention system. My ex and I used to be just about to get going - maybe spooning under the bed (just in case we were seen) and invariably there would be a figure at the door and to say the moment's gone would be an under statement.

I share my home with my two youngest daughters - 19 and 23. I've lost count the times they've returned home just as I've been getting ready to entertain. Thankfully my playmates know the score and one has even phoned me on route to say my daughter is on the same train as him! He'd never met my daughter, but she is the spitting image.

Any how, now's she's at uni hundreds of miles away in Derby, and my other daughter works as a nurse, I finally thought I'd be able to get more fun in. I'm having surgery on Thursday and no sex for a month after, so for the last month since my daughter has gone to uni I've been trying to play.

Booked time off...daughter had wisdom teeth out so didn't go to work for a week. She went to spend time with her boyfriend, arranged meet, she didn't feel well and phoned to say she was on her way home - just as I was about to squeeze myself into one of my outfits.

Today, planned to meet my playmate this afternoon, but shattered after my trip to Derby yesterday so decided to "work" from home. My friend arrived early as I was at home and bled my radiators for me, hung my living and dining room curtains before we headed up to bed.

Had a wonderful time, but he said I'd drained him so he left early, around 2.30, when we would have been in full flow if I'd gone to work and come home early! Just had a shower and got dressed, cleaned and packed away the toys, made the bed put away the "man" stuff, came downstairs for a cuppa when in walks my daughter! I nearly choked!!

Apparently it was her day off and she'd been round her boyfriends. He has an interview for a job today at 3.30 so she came home!!

She'd have needed counselling for life if she'd come upstairs - my room door was open, to see her mum with a naked and bound men with a dildo up his whatsits!!!

See, fate can sometimes work both ways. At least you both got to play, you have newly hung curtains, toasty all over rads and a warm glow inside from the play. And your Daughter isn't a gibbering wreck in a corner. I so feel for you - and your play mates, we all get 'geared up' in anticipation and then things can put the brakes on just like that.

As a parent, I've never complained about the odd cancellation - you just know that sods law will often play it's hand at the worst possible time.

Glad you got to play though - sounded fun for both and no mental scarring.
