Today is a special day today, as it is national ME and Fibromyalgia awareness day.

Any other sufferers on Fab?

I'm hoping to be well enough to pop over to Blackpool later to see them light the tower purple, thanks to the fibro ducks team

I'm hoping that a cure can be found soon. However, I do like the idea of Fibro Ducks. They sound like they should have their own series on CBeebies

Not a sufferer, but someone I went to school with and am still in touch with is, and so I am wearing purple today in support of Fibromyalgia Awareness day.

On a side note, this wearing purple business, I'm glad it didn't coincide with the election last week, otherwise I'd be thinking there were an awful lot of Ukip supporters out there.

Kinda like looking for a cue for depression or anxiety though given there's no discernible physical* cause.

*by physical I mean outside of the brain where yes chemical imbalances etc can be counted as physical for depression anxiety and mf/me but looking for physical issues on that level there is borderline impossible with today's technology.

I wear a T-Shirt that says "all about ME"

and 2 awareness ribbons, 1 blue, 1 purple
