Lots of travellers have settled...especially where we live.

They aren't even the stereotypical people think they are.....

You hear of them being known for leaving litter wherever they go....i have never seen a scrap left by a traveller, even witnessed them getting all their rubbish from lunch and putting it in the bin.

No one has asked to tarmac my drive or knocked on for scrap

We don't see hoards of traveller children roaming the streets scantily clad nor causing trouble.

We have more trouble from the scratters that reside locally with their mums in pjs and dads sat around drinking cheap lager,cider...dog sick or whatever.

I think it's programmes on the TV that make people have this perception of them.

The guy j knew was a Romany gypsy not an Irish traveller and he kept trying to say it was the travellers that gave them a bad rep but be proved to me to be worse!

I've met some lovely travelers in my time and generally expect everyone to uphold the same high standards as I do, with regard to treating others with respect and maxxing the sexual pleasures we need.

I've occasionally encountered people who try to stereotype me and be prejudiced. It doesn't wash, so I don't try to do it with others.

Op - perhaps you could tell us more about you? What brought you here, your interests etc.
