Baked beans

Just had my tea

Beans on toast ( couldn't be arsed to cook anything else )

How do you have yours ?

Do you prefer brands?

I like to cook mine in a pan so they stew a bit

Heinz

White toast cut into triangles and beans placed in the middle. Not on the toast.

Heinz mixed beans, piping hot. Thick white toast and a splash of brown sauce.

I'm so sad when making beans on toast...

I cut the toast into 4 triangles, arrange them nicely down one side of the plate, do the same on the other side with more toast, then put beans down the middle. Sometimes put cheese on as well if we have any in.

Any brand will do so long as they aren't watery.

Heinz or hp preferred. 4 full slices of toast. Beans over top of two of them. Other two as picker uppers lol.

I can eat beans 2 different ways nice and hot on toast or even with sausage and mash with gravy

but I can also eat them straight from the tin with a spoon

In a stew? Yeah they can be nice with any potato meal for me, add onions as well and i really like that.

I don't have a microwave, my kitchen looks cluttered with one in so i didn't replace my last one.

I have gone right off Heinz beans. They seem to have changed the sauce a while back. So buy Branston ones now . My favorite is fried bread 1with beans on unfortunately makes the kitchen smell so on toast .

beans is one of the ingrediants I use for stew so is spaghetti as well

with potatoes, onions, turnip and carrots, peas marrowfat and garden ones all get thrown into the mix

then the cooked meat gets thrown into the mix as it comes to the boil then its allowed to soak up the flavours before i add the gravy and simmer that for a while

No i don't do that, not on purpose anyway. I like them a bit hard/firm still.

I've just had some for my tea with gammon and grilled tomatoes. Sainsburys own brand, microwave the crap out of them and lots of black pepper.

I like to do mine in a pan and mix an egg in with them to stodge them up a bit.Then when they're cooked mix in some salad cream and pour on to some wholemeal toast. Sometimes grate some Edam or apricot Stilton over the beans as well if I have any in

I add beans to my shepherds pie filling and to sausages and bacon stew. I don't really like them on toast.
