I, myself am not a huge fan of wine... It gives me a headache...and thats before Ive finished the bottle.

I have recently been fancying Red Wine. All the ones Ive tried in the past have just tasted like vinegar!!

Is it a acquired taste or have i just not tried the right ones?

Try a decent Rioja reserve or a smooth merlot

If white wine gives you a headache red will give you double. Champagne is the way forward

Smooth full bodied like velvet ones, fruity ones, woody ones, all sorts.

You have just not found your red yet. Personally cant stand Merlot which many rave about. My all time favourite is Brunello di montacino. Absolutely gorgeous, like liquid joy. Tho it is about £30 a bottle.

I love my wine, try a nice easy drinking one like Blossom Hill 'nice and fruity' or it might be 'soft and fruity' if you can't drink that then I think you might just hate red wine lol

Never used to like red, I always used to drink white, until I drank 3 bottles of it and passed out at the christmas party, so I moved to Rose which I found very moreish and had to resist temptation to crack open the second bottle.

So one new year I decided to make it my resolution to like red wine, the second glass tastes better but I limit myself to 2/3 glasses as i'm sure the hangover will be horrific.

As an aside, there has been media discussion on the effect white wine has on women and it's not good.

Not me, can't guarantee it wouldn't give you one though.

Vermouth is quite nice, tastes herby if you like that.

Not really a big drinker any more so no idea about any other wines.

Hampshire / Herefordshire

Temperature is important too with red as is allowing it to breathe a while. Personally I do not like most chilled whites because they are so cold they all taste the same to me.
