"Anyone got them , have they helped? "

My brother has one and it has made a big difference in the treatment he needs every eight weeks. It makes it easier.

near the sounds of the wimborne quarter jack!

Sadly, I had to go the Full Monty and have a quadruple by-pass but it was very clear not long after the op that I was going to do far more than I had before the op was done. Bearing in mind that if a stent is adequate for the job then that`s what they`ll use as it`s less invasive an op and results should be instant! After I had my by-pass I was sent to hospital for re-hab classes and it was a doddle and I even managed the more intensive Heart Club sessions afterwards! We used to do two 2 minute sessions of on the spot running in our warm-ups!

I would say don`t worry one little bit about the op and look forward to getting a life again!

Amazing, little suckers. Good luck, you will have a new lease of life, and a very short hospital stay. Perhaps one night, only.

Scunthorpe

My dad had 2 put in a couple of years ago and has had no problems at all since. He was getting out of breath just walking round to the local shop but was soon back swimming and cycling.

2 stents fitted 3 years ago, and felt fantastic immediately! Wide awake during op and no probs at all since. Tablets daily now but that's not rocket science
